Västerbotten

A Fishing Center in Västerbotten symbolizes competence, experience, good service and local knowledge about the game fishing in the county.
When visiting Västerbotten with your fishing equipment in your luggage you should of course visit us. We are here to help with the vast offer of fishing waters in Västerbotten.
At a Fishing Center you can among other things buy your fishing license, rent a boat, book accommodation or fishing guides. You can also get updated information about the fishing in the area and for example tips on when to fish during the day or best choice of flies. As mentioned we are here to help you make the most of your fishing vacation.
You are always warmly welcome!

The Youth Hostel and the Inn together with the Fishing Center is the natural rendezvous for people interested in fishing that visit Ammarnäs.
Many visitors come inside and make complementary additions to their fly box with flies that are successful in our waters, leaders and other consumable supplies to be on the safe side.
Should bad fortune strike we naturally sell fly lines, rods and reels at the Fishing Center.

The Inn

If you live at the Youth Hostel or in a cabin it might sometimes be comfortable to visit us and have a cooked meal before a day’s fishing.
We are open from morning until night and many of our fishing guests use the diner as a rendezvous where you have a cup of coffee or whatever pleases you for the moment. Naturally the most common topic is fishing and exchanging of tips. The Fishing Center is in the next room to the Inn so complementary additions can be made during the conversation.
A big and high-class TV attracts some fishermen to watch the weather reports or what they find interesting as repose from fishing.
You can also visit us during the breakfast and make your own sandwiches to bring with you when you go fishing.
