Programme

We start our day’s tour by saddling up our transport for the day – kind and easily ridden Icelandic horses. We reach Näsbergstjärn after about four km of riding north at 688 m above sea level. Quickly the coffee pot is over the fire and the discussion about the fishing starts!
Our competent guide teaches the technique of fly fishing and fishing from a float tube and which flies that are suitable for the occasion. Näsbergstjärn, known for its big arctic char and easiness to fish, will bring you an experience beside the usual.
Good food belongs! When your stomach reminds you we leave the water for a great lunch cooked on local ingredients.
The fishing continues during the afternoon with a break for coffee and fishing stories. Who knows if they are true or false?
When the afternoon turns to evening we saddle up our horses again and ride back to Ammarnäs. The fishing and the riding is over for this time, but you are guaranteed to bring home some beautiful memories.
